Our Authenticity Promise
Every moldavite we sell is genuine, natural, ethically sourced Czech moldavite, expert verified, and shipped with a signed Certificate of Authenticity you can verify at our certificate verification page. If any piece is ever found to be non genuine, you are entitled to a full refund. This guarantee stands behind every order.
30-Day Returns
If you change your mind, you may return your item within 30 days of delivery for a refund. To qualify, the item must be unused, in its original condition, and returned with its Certificate of Authenticity and the original BUYMOLDAVITE gift box. Items that show wear or are missing their certificate or box may not be eligible for a full refund.
How to Start a Return
Starting a return is easy. Contact us through our contact page with your order number and let us know which item you would like to return and why. We will reply with simple instructions on where and how to send it back. Please do not send an item back before contacting us, so we can make sure everything goes smoothly.
Refunds
Once we receive your returned item and confirm its condition, we will process your refund to your original payment method, whether that was PayPal or your card. Refunds are usually issued within a few business days of approval, though it can take a little longer for the funds to appear on your statement, depending on your bank or provider. We will email you when your refund has been sent.
Return Shipping
For standard change of mind returns, the cost of return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, and we recommend using a tracked service so your item is protected on the way back. If a return is due to our error, a damaged item, or a piece found to be non genuine, we cover the cost and make it right at no expense to you.
Damaged or Lost in Transit
Because moldavite is fragile natural glass, we pack every order carefully, and all shipments are fully insured against loss, theft, and damage in transit. In the rare case your order arrives damaged or does not arrive at all, please contact us as soon as possible, ideally with a photo if it was damaged. We will arrange a replacement or refund and take care of you.
Non-Returnable Items
A few items cannot be returned, including:
- Custom or engraved pieces made to order, if applicable.
- Gift cards.
- Items returned without their Certificate of Authenticity or in clearly used condition.
Exchanges
Since every moldavite is a unique, one of a kind natural stone, we do not offer direct swaps. If you would like a different piece, the simplest path is to return your eligible item for a refund and place a new order for the one you prefer. Just contact us and we will help.
